Hi, I’m Kaleigh (they/them)

Kaleigh has short dark hair, is wearing a black shirt and a dark green jacket, standing with their hands clasped in front of a plain light-colored background.

I see the therapy space as a kind of nest, a soft place to return to yourself, one that gently holds all that you carry, and all that carries you, your longings, your becoming. And from that place, we can begin to hold something larger: the shape of your life, your relationships, and your place in the world.

I believe that allowing ourselves to be truly seen and witnessed is a profound act of bravery. I would be honoured to support you in reconnecting with your sense of wholeness after trauma, nurture your longing to expand your world when anxiety has made it feel small, and help cultivate the re-ignition of your vitality in the midst of burnout.

I am passionate about accompanying folks facing major life changes, and showing up with fierceness to my work with people who are reclaiming personal power and community connection in the midst of surviving oppression. I bring lived experience to my work with gender and sexual identity exploration, and an approach to neurodiversity that is reverent and informed. My extensive history supporting adults and teens whose lives have been impacted by gender-based and sexualized violence continues to hold an important place at the center of my practice.

I have a Masters of Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker (RSW), working primarily with the tender, heart-led modality, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).Together, we'll honour the brilliance of your survival; every strategy that protects you. In the safety we build together, we’ll listen closely for the stirrings beneath: emotions long-held, connection to your core-self, and the strengthening of your voice and agency. My hope is that working together will open portals of possibility for you, and new ways of being in the world.

My work is also deeply shaped by my identities as a queer, non-binary and an uninvited white settler of Scottish ancestry; supported by my relationship to the lands and waters here on Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ territories. I hold immense gratitude and strive to work in meaningful solidarity with the larger community of Indigenous stewards, anti-oppressive organizers, and all those who continue to resist violence and uphold justice in their communities.
